IT Engineer

Work as a member of the IT support team. Triage and resolve a multitude of IT related issues for both managed and data center customers. Work with a team of experienced IT professionals to maintain customer relationships. Engineer improvements to customer technology architecture with modern tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to diagnose IT issues and attempt resolution

  • Liaise with customer for ongoing tasks Manage personal service board daily and update tickets

  • Triage and escalate service tickets

  • Assist with ongoing projects Monitor and support Managed Services Provider software

  • Travel to customer businesses and support technology on-site

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal customer communication and follow-up skills

  • Efficient diagnosis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

  • Willingness to try and tackle issues beyond current skill set

  • Ability to understand and gather required information for problem escalation

  • Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong writing, documentation, and organizational skills

  • Understanding of computer hardware

  • Understanding of storage hardware and software

  • Personality to work well with a great diversity of personalities

  • Desired skills Understanding of VoIP technology

  • Understanding of Firewall and/or router and configuration

  • Understanding of networking and associated infrastructure

  • Experience with Windows workstations, Server 2008-2016 Experience with Email (Exchange, Microsoft 365)
